NATIONAL TRAINER
10 & 11 November 2026, Japan
National Trainers (NT) work at a country level, training Instructors and Leaders for INWA Member Countries. As a teacher trainer, NT's play a key role in building a network of Instructors in their region. Applications for the NT course must be counter-signed by their NNWA.

NORDIC WALKING INSTRUCTOR
16 & 17 May 2026, Berlin, Germany
Nordic Walking Instructors (NWI) are at the heart of INWA. Their role is to teach people how to Nordic Walk. NWI run groups for fitness, health, tourism or as a social activity.

CHILDREN & TEENS INSTRUCTOR
16 & 17 May 2026, Berlin Germany
or 10 & 11 November 2026, Japan
Teaching you how to adapt the INWA 10 Step Method to make it engaging and meaningful for children. The course focuses on developing physical literacy and supporting social and emotional learning, ensuring teaching is relevant, age-appropriate, and impactful. This course is for certified INWA Nordic Walking Instructors.

NATIONAL RACE OFFICIAL & RACE REFEREE TRAINING
10 September 2026, Lahti, Finland
Certify as an official National Race Official or as a Race Referee in this blended learning course:
1. Webinar and On-Demand
2. Practical lesson on site
3. Volunteer work for referee as part of the World Championships team.
This is a unique opportunity to not only learn to organise and run races but to gain invaluable experience behind the scenes of a major Nordic Walking competition.
